To speed up security screening, DFW Airport offers TSA PreCheck at all terminals. While CLEAR is only available at Terminal E with enrollment centres. Passengers flying on some specific airlines can utilize priority lanes set by the airport. Most of the security checkpoints remain open till 8 and 9 p.m. daily, and this primary service doesn’t work from midnight till the early morning. CLEAR is the fastest and most predictable way to get through airport security. The CLEAR facility is available exclusively at DFW Terminal E. Its enrollment centres are located at security checkpoints at E8, E16, and E18.

To use TSA PreCheck at DFW Airport, passengers must ensure the confirmation of their Known Traveler Number (KTN) on their airline reservation, and it must be indicated on their boarding passes.

  • Verify the booking with KTN and check the logo on the digital or physical pass. 

  • Locate the security checkpoint in the departure area; it’s available at every terminal. 

  • If security lines are long, passengers suggest Terminal E often has shorter lines and also offers CLEAR. 

  • Touchless IDs are present at the checkpoints, where people can scan their faces for identity verification. 

  • Proceed through the dedicated lane without removing shoes, laptops, or liquids. 

NOTE: From 1 February 2026, flyers without any acceptable ID can use TSA ConfirmID, a modernized identity verification service available for a $45 fee.

Automated Security Lanes 

Alongside TSA PreCheck and CLEAR, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport provides some automated security lanes at three Terminals.

  • At gate A21 at DFW Terminal A.

  • Gates D18, D22, and D30 at Dallas Airport Terminal D.

  • Gate E18 at Terminal C of  DFW.
