DFW Airport Station: DART, TEX Rail, and TRE

Three main train lines serve DFW International Airport as public transportation options: DART, TEX Rail, and TRE. DART primarily serves Dallas, TEX Rail to Fort Worth, and the TRE connects services between the two major cities. The orange and silver lines of Dallas Area Rapid transit is present on Terminal A and B, respectively. The Trinity Metro is accessible directly from Terminal B from the lower level at B30, or by taking inter-terminal shuttles. Terminal D mainly connects to the CentrePort Station by offering free bus service from the upper level, near gate 22.

Dallas Airport Station Location and Access

All departing and arriving passengers can access these train stations, either directly or by connecting through shuttles. It mainly functions at DFW Terminal A, B, and D. If traveling from any other terminal, take the skylink from the Top-most level of the specific area.

  • DART Orange Line: DFW Terminal A, lower-level curb, entry A-10

  • DART Silver Line: DFW Terminal B, Lower-level, Entry B-49.

  • TEX Rail: Terminal B, Lower-level, Entry B-43.

  • TRE Station: It is located 6 miles from the Airport, DFW Terminal D provides shuttle service to the TRE Centreport Station.

  1. DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit)

Dallas Area Rapid Transit extends both orange and silver lines connecting to main locations of the city directly. Passengers can purchase tickets through the DFW Airport Station kiosks or by mobile at the GoPass app for both Apple and Android users. 

Additionally, the DART customer care is open 7 days a week, between 5 a.m. and 12 a.m.

  1. TEX Rail

TEX Rail presents services through the DFW Airport North Station, operating between 4.13 a.m. and 12.59 a.m. The frequency of trains is every 30 minutes in peak season, while every 60 minutes during off-peak season. Moreover, the station doesn’t provide any connections.

  1. Trinity Railway Express (TRE)

The Trinity Railway Express connects both Dallas and Fort Worth through the Centreport Station, almost 6 miles away. DFW Airport offers free shuttle service from Terminal D, every 20 to 40 minutes, from Monday to Saturday, between 5.30 a.m. and 11 p.m.
