British Airways carries out its flight activities via Terminal D of Dallas Airport. It utilises the D6-D16 boarding gates, has a specific check-in counter, and serves destinations in London. The British Airways Terminal at DFW has a multitude of eateries and retail stores, along with the only Customs and Border Patrol office of the airport. Currently, BA has stopped its operations at the airport and will resume from May 2026. In the meantime, its flight destinations are being managed by its partner, American Airlines.

What Terminal is British Airways at DFW?

The International Terminal, i.e., Terminal D, manages all operations of British Airways at Dallas Airport. Its 1 and 2 levels are utilized for completing necessary procedures.

  • All baggage claim belts, customs and border patrol, along with transport facilities, are accessible at Level 1.

  • Departure procedures like check-in, boarding area, multiple amenities, and outlets are located in Level 3 of the DFW British Airways terminal.

  • Level 5 connects the terminal to other parts of the airport via the Skylink train station.

British Airways has Terminal D as its arrival point at DFW Airport. Arrival procedures take place at Level 1.

  • International Arrivals have to go through Customs and Border Patrol after disembarking. Global Entry can be utilised for expediting through customs, with a Global Entry enrolment centre within the premises.

  • The baggage carousel belts can be located with the help of information kiosks and digital screens. 

  • Facilities for taxis, shuttles, ride app pick-up, and buses are offered right outside this level of the British Airways Terminal of DFW. 

DFW British Airways Departure Terminal

Only direct flights to London are served by British Airways from DFW Terminal D

  • Departing passengers have security and check-in at Level 3 of the DFW British Airways Terminal.

  • The BA check-in counter is located near Door D20. Alternatively, the online and app facility can be utilised 24 hours prior to flight departures.

  • Go through the D18 security checkpoint while utilising the TSA PreCheck facility to reduce thesecurity wait times at Dallas Airport

  • Access the various shopping and dining options and then wait at the boarding gate area. Generally, D6-D16 are the boarding gates used by British Airways.

Note: Check the recommended arrival and security wait times and reach the airport accordingly.


Although British Airways has temporarily stopped its operations from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, it previously used Terminal D for its flights. BA counters, and boarding gates, along with accessibility and other amenities, are provided at DFW British Airways Terminal.
